“FINEST QUALITY HORSES IN RIDING STABLE HISTORY”

Come to where the sun shines 30% more and receives 50% less rain only minutes from Vancouver.

Trail rides are mainly through Campbell Valley Park in Langley, which is located right across the street from the Equestrian Center. This beautiful nature park is fourteen hundred acres of pristine new forest where the Campbell River runs through it's valley. This wonderful land was mainly donated to the municipality, by local area residents to become an Equestrian Nature Park. Now the land is run by the GVRD Parks and Recreation Board and have acquired more local properties. With walking trail in it's center and a specially built equestrian trail around it's perimeter. You'll enjoy the rolling hills and meadows where plants and animals live in a natural environment. Quite often you'll see deer, coyotes, wild rabbits and an incredible assortment of birds. In fact, in the silence of the forest the only noise you'll here are the chirps of the birds. You'll ride the finest quality horses in riding stable history. As past and current equestrian champion competitors, It was our vision to create a stable with properly schooled horses, so the regular public can enjoy mans first transportation and friend, the horse. Like family to us we have attracted over 53 volunteers and regular riders to help maintain and care for these magnificent horses.

We are open year round, 7 days a week, from 9am until 4:30pm in the summer, and 9am until 2:30pm in the winter. We do not provide guided rides throughout the park, although we promote the buddy system. Your buddy is a regular rider or leasee, most of which have been here for years and enjoy Langley 204 weekly if not daily, to ride their own horses and many are enrolled in our educational programs. You'll learn the park and we'll know our family of horses are well taken care of. After you learn the park, and believe you can head out on your own, you may ask to do so. We always promote safety and the buddy system, riding with experienced riders is enjoyable and you could learn about horsemanship.

We prefer our clientel to become regular, as then we know are horses are ridden well. If you've never ridden before or have only ridden up mountain trails where your horse just followed the other horse and lucky to break into a trot. We would recommend you take lessons in riding and controlling your horse. Being just a passenger on a horse is not the safest and common sense is to learn properly. We promote quality riding, safety and the enjoyment and closeness to your horse, which means your group is as big as it gets. No long follow the leader line ups where you'll eat plenty of dust and crash into the person in front of you to stop. The largest we allow groups, for safety reasons is 6 riders, you'd never be able to see the person in front in humungous groups, but you'd sure eat their dust. So if your group is larger then that, we may have to split them into smaller groups for safety and health.. We do provide horses for all riding experiences, however, if you have never ridden a horse before, we prefer that you take a lesson. Also, the youngest we allow on the trail is 10 years, with previous riding experience. If they are younger, we do provide pony lead lines.

Reservations must be made in order for us to choose an appropriate horse for your size and riding experience. When you call, we will be asking you for your height, weight and experience, as well as a Visa or MasterCard number to hold the time for you and set aside appropriate horses. Any questions? Feel free to call and ask.
